Are you entering grade 7-12 in September?  Are you joining National Honor Society or Junior National Honor Society in the fall?  Are you going to be receiving Confirmation?  Do you want to beef up your college applications?  Do you like to give back?

If you answered yes to any of the above, you should volunteer at the Library!  Don't wait until the last minute next year; any hours you earn over the summer are recorded and can be applied to any future endeavors.  So sign up now to be a summer volunteer while there is still time!

We need volunteers for:

  • Various Craft Programs: Those entering grades 7-12 can register to help in the Children's Room for one to two hours at a time throughout the summer.  Total hours will be approximately 4-6 hours for the summer.
  • Babysitting Services: Those entering grades 7-12 can register to provide babysitting services during adult and children library programs.  A character reference must be provided for consideration.
  • Summer Reading Club Listeners: Those who are 14-years-old and older can  work a schedule of approximately two hours per week throughout the summer, listening to children report on what they have read.
So stop by the Library and register for our great summer volunteer opportunities today!
