Summer Volunteer Opportunity Registration is OPEN!

The library needs responsible volunteers for the summer.  Registration for July volunteer opportunities is May 1 - June 27; registration for August volunteer opportunities is July 1 - July 29.  Spots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.  Register at the Reference Desk; there is no telephone or online registration:

• Those entering grades 7-12 can register to help in the Children's Room with various craft programs throughout the summer.  You may register for 3 craft programs for each month.
• Those entering grades 7-12 can register to provide babysitting services during library programs.  You may register for 5 babysitting days for each month.
• Those who are 14-years-old and older can register to be Summer Reading Club Listeners, requiring you to work a schedule of three hours per week throughout the summer, listening to children report on what they have read.

You may be simultaneously registered for any of the above as long as you stay within the limitations for each type of volunteer opportunity (i.e. up to 3 craft programs, up to 5 babysitting shifts, and/or summer reading club listener for each summer month).
