Young Adult Virtual Summer Programs
All Young Adult summer programs are open to those entering grades 6-12 in September. We are trying a new program format: "Take and Make." With our best efforts, we wanted to provide you with the fun craft and food summer programs we usually offer and we've done our very best to also provide you with as many materials/ingredients for these programs as we can. Under each Take and Make program, there will be two dates listed: the day to pick up the materials from the book sale room pick up window (pick up is only available on the day stated) and the day the instructional pre-recorded video (to be watched as your leisure) will air on eipl.org. You will need to wear a mask to pick up items. Phone only registration is currently ongoing. Please call the Reference Desk at 631-581-9200x5 to register.
Lizards and toads and rabbits, oh my! Learn about common and not so common pets. The pre-recorded video will air on eipl.org at 9am on Wednesday, July 8. There is no registration for this program.
Sculpt neon colored air dry clay that glows in the dark into a miniature "fire breathing" dragon. All materials will be provided.

Using pebbles, soil and succulents create a beautiful beachy terrarium sure to brighten up any room in your house. Please note, you will need pebbles and soil, all other materials will be provided.

Mix and measure ingredients to create your own unique flavor of cookie dough. Please note, you will need 1 stick of butter and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract (optional), all other ingredients will be provided.

Celebrate our Virtual Comic Con with us and decorate cupcakes to look like fan favorite droid, BB-8. All ingredients will be provided.

Learn how to easily transform letters and numbers into cartoon characters through guided drawing exercises. The pre-recorded video will air on eipl.org at 9am on Thursday, August 6. There is no registration for this program.
