Take and Make: 2021 Bullet Journals (EIY789) 
Pick up begins Monday, January 4 - Saturday, January 30, while supplies last.
Grades 6-12
Celebrate the new year with a new journal!  Customize your very own bullet journal and tailor it to your interests.  From monthly goal trackers to artistic collages and sketches, a journal full of blank pages awaits your creativity!  Each kit includes one bullet journal, one set of fine line pens, and one ruler. Register online or call the Reference Desk at (631) 581-9200 x 5.  Don’t forget to tag us with your creations on Instagram, @eiplya. 

Virtual Valentine’s Day Panda Drawing (EIY790) 
Zoom presentation on  Tuesday, January 26 at 6:30 p.m.
Grades 6-12
Learn how to draw an adorable pair of pandas, perfect for gifting to a loved one for Valentine’s Day!  All you need for this program is a piece of paper, a pencil, and your choice of colored pencils, crayons, or markers.  Register online or call the Reference Desk at (631) 581-9200 x 5. Take and Make: Meals on Wheels Placemats (EIY791) 
Pick up materials on Tuesday, January 5
Bring finished placemat back to library by Saturday, January 30
Grades 6-12
Using special paper, vintage books, and other supplies, create placemats for adults who participate in the Meals on Wheels program.  These placemats will be donated to Meals on Wheels in Stony Brook.  Pick up materials at the Reference Desk on Tuesday, January 5 and bring back finished placemay by Saturday, January 30.  Teens will receive one (1) hour of community service for attending this program.  Register online or call the Reference Desk at (631) 581-9200 x 5. Takeand Make: Conversation Heart Cookies (EIY792) 
Pick up begins Tuesday, February 2
Video sent via email on Friday, February 5 at 11:00 a.m.
Strike up a conversation with that special someone with some delicious cookies!  Decorate three large heart shaped cookies and pipe a special message on each with a thick sugar glaze.  Register online or call the Reference Desk at (631) 581-9200 x 5. Teen Dating Violence 101 (EIY793) 
Zoom presentation on Wednesday, February 10 at 6:30 p.m.
Grades 7-12
This workshop describes the dynamics of teen dating violence, including the different forms of abuse and the additional challenges present in the era of social media. Teens will receive one (1) hour of community service credit for attending this program.  Register online or call the Reference Desk at (631) 581-9200 x 5.
