Super Smash Bros. (EIY748) R
March 15 and April 12 at 7:00 p.m.
Grades 6-12
Join us for a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate mega-tournament!  Players can compete in a super fun and friendly event with awesome prizes for the top-placing players!  Please note that there are two dates, so make sure to sign up for both!  Click here to register for this program.

Take and Make: Irish Soda Bread (EIY862) R
Pick up begins on Monday, March 13
Grades 6-12
Make a delicious loaf of Irish Soda Bread from scratch! Kits include Irish soda bread mix, caraway seeds, raisins, and also, in case of an emergency, chocolate chips!  Each kit contains a QR code to access the video tutorial.  Click here to register for this program.

Teen Advisory Board (EIY818) R

Grades 7-12
Join us for our bi-monthly TAB meeting where we will talk about our interests and welcome your suggestions for new teen programs and services.  This is your chance to be heard; let us know what YOU want!  Earn one (1) hour of community service for attending this program.  Visit or call the Reference Desk at (631) 581-9200 ext. 5 to register for this program.

Getting Ready to Babysit (EIY702) R
Saturday, April 1 at 10:00 a.m.
Grades 6-9
Fee: $10 per person
Learn the necessary skills to become a responsible babysitter.  Topics covered include: child safety, developmental stages of children and how to plan age appropriate activities.  This is the perfect opportunity for girl scouts!  Participants will receive a certificate upon completion.  Please bring $10.00 in exact change when you sign up at the Reference Desk.

Take and Make: Rabbit Cupcakes (EIY863) R

Teen Toy Paramedics (EIY857) R

Grades 6-12
Volunteer to help us keep the library’s toddler playtime toys clean and in tip-top shape. Participants can earn one (1) hour of community service for this opportunity.  Visit or call the Reference Desk at (631) 581-9200 ext. 5 to register for this program.

Authors Unlimited at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue
Saturday, April 15, 9:00 a.m.—2:30 p.m.
A free program that celebrates reading by connecting teens and authors. Attendees will get the chance to hear from three authors of young adult literature; at a panel and in solo sessions. There will be a chance to purchase books and get them signed! Attendees can earn three (3) hours of community service credit for attending and then filling out a survey at the end of the day. Adulting 101 (EIY864) R
Wednesday, April 26 at 6:30 p.m.
Grades 9-12
Learn some fundamental skills that will help you to “adult” a little bit easier. From learning how to write a check and job application to learning some simple sewing techniques, this class is full of useful tips that all teens could use!  Click here to register for this program.
