Join us for our bi-monthly TAB meeting where we will talk about our interests and welcome your suggestions for new teen programs and services.  This is your chance to be heard; let us know what YOU want!  Earn one (1) hour of community service for attending this program.  Call the Reference Desk to register for this program. 

Take and Make: Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie (EIY868)
Pick up begins on Monday, May 15
Grades 6-12

New York State Safe Boating Course (EIY703) R
Monday, June 27 (6 p.m.—9 p.m.), Tuesday, June 28 (6 p.m.—9 p.m.), and Wednesday, June 29 (6 p.m.—9 p.m.) 
Fee: $50

New York State Safe Boating Classes are now mandatory for anyone operating a boat, watercraft or Jet Ski in NY State. The law requires anyone born before Jan. 1, 1983 will need a boating safety certificate beginning in 2023 and by 2025 everyone regardless of age MUST have a safe boating certificate.  All registrants for this event must be 10 years of age by June 26, 2023. Young Adult Summer Reading Club
Sign up begins on Monday, June 12 at 9:00 a.m.
Grades 7-12
Join our annual summer reading club!  This year, we are giving you the option to complete the program either online, in-person, or both; for every book you read, submit a 3-5 sentence review on the form that’s on the blog or on a reporting form at the Reference Desk.  Each book review will earn you a raffle ticket that can be entered into the drawing of your choice.  For every five book submissions or ten graphic novel submissions, you will automatically get one entry into the grand prize raffle, an Apple Watch!  Register in person or online starting Monday, June 12 at https://eipl.org/r/YAsrc2023
