Don't miss out on our summer volunteer opportunities...

The library needs responsible volunteers for the summer (July & August).  Registration for the summer lasts for the month of May, ending on May 31.  This is the ONLY TIME we register volunteers for the summer and space is limited.  Spots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis:

• Those entering grades 7-12 can register to help in the Children's Room for one to two hours at a time at various craft programs throughout the summer.  Total hours will be approximately 4-6 hours for the summer.
• Those entering grades 7-12 can register to provide babysitting services during adult and children library programs.  A character reference must be provided for consideration.
• Those who are 14-year-old and older can register to be Summer Reading Club Listeners, requiring you to work a schedule or two hours per week throughout the summer, listening to children report on what they have read.

You must register in person at the Reference Desk with your library card.  Volunteers will receive their schedule in the mail in June.
